Cave In
Cave In has been rewriting sonic hardcore since 1995 when the band began
releasing split singles. Over the last seven years, Cave In has continued to
refine their direction and experiment with melodic sensibilities. Cave In's
"Jupiter" album, released in August 2000, garnered the band attention from
major labels and gave a clear vision to the undeniable melodic post-hardcore
sound that the band had worked to find. Cave In's most recent release, a
2-song 7" single on Hydra Head Records, shows the budding of an ethereal and
cerebral new vibe that could change the face of rock. Cave In have lined-up
producer Brendan O'Brien (Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam) to helm the
band's debut album for RCA Records.

Vex Red
Producer Ross Robinson has manned some of the most important rock albums of
our time. Robinson's list of accomplishments includes Korn's 1995
genre-creating debut, Slipknot's Roadrunner releases and the overpowering At
The Drive-In release, "Relationship Of Command". Vex Red, the latest
undertaking by Robinson, is signed to his IAM Recordings label. Vex Red's
emotional tension in songs like "Clone Jesus" is a blend of dirty and
distorted guitar atmospheres, captivating emotional vocal styling and
intoxicating rhythms. Vex Red are a piercing, hypnotic and uninhibited take
on underground British indie noise. Robinson's direction and multi-leveled
attack will make Vex Red's IAM/Virgin debut, "Start With A Strong And
Persistent Desire", a worthwhile listen for those ready to be challenged.

Sinch
Roadrunner Records has been the leader in heavy music for the last decade.
From Sepultura to Slipknot, the label has set the bar for the genre. One of
the label's latest signings, Sinch, brings heaviness on a much different
plateau than its predecessors. Sinch are a deep and allusive act that clouds
the mind with mind-altering guitar lines and tripped-out atmospheres. The
band's intelligent heaviness and art-rock vibe is comparable to Tool, but
much more literal, dreamy and hypnotic. Sinch are looking for something,
they're looking to explore places that other rock bands aren't willing to
go, or can't begin to comprehend. Sinch weighs heavy on the mind and is a
much more intelligent expression of "heaviness" than the mind numbing metal
pummeling of its fellow Roadrunner acts. Songs like "Tabula Rasa" and "The
Silent Acquiescence Of Millions" are shadowy, soul-searching epics with
heavy bass lines and reflective vocals. If you're looking for something
more, if you're looking to take a journey, Sinch may very well be for you. more...

odyssey whose musical direction points to bands like Tool, Pink Floyd and
Failure. The band paints a multi-leveled textural journey that has been
perfectly captured by producers Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd) and Brian Virtue
(Deadsy). If you're ready to take a deep journey into the depths of the
universe, Thirty Seconds To Mars is the vehicle that will take you to

36 Crazyfists
With an unmistakable vocal style and a musical attack all their own, 36
Crazyfists are set to tear things up with their Roadrunner debut,
"Bitterness The Star". Frontman Brock Lindow is one of the most unique
vocalists in rock today, with an abrasive and constantly changing vocal
style that keeps you on the edge with melodic verses and overpowering
scream choruses. 36 Crazyfists hit you in every direction with a singular
and serjical attack that ambush the ear on every level. 36 Crazyfists
recruited crunchy rock producers Scrap 60 Productions (Dry Kill Logic,
Primer 55), who brought a consistency and devastatingly heavy sound to the
band's debut. 36 Crazyfists will dislocate and harm you with their pummeling
emotional assault. Beware. more...
